National Parks BioBlitz

On Saturday, September 24, Alyssa participated in a National Parks BioBlitz in conjunction with the Boston Harbor Islands National & State Park. The bioblitz was part of a celebration of the National Park Service's centennial.

Alyssa was located specifically on Georges Island and helped with three public tours that examined insect diversity on that particular island. She served as their entomology expert and in the future, will also be helping with specimen ID by reviewing pictures taken on the iNaturalist app used during the bioblitz.
