On May 7 & 8, the two-day conference "Amazonia and Our Planetary Futures: A Conference on Climate Change" was held, hosted by the Climate Change Initiative at David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies. Organized by Brian D. Farrell, Bruno de Medeiros, and Bruno Carvalho, the symposium brought “…together experts and leaders from the US and Latin America to discuss the past, present and future of Amazonia.
