On Wed., Sept. 14, Prof. Farrell gave the inaugural presentation at the Gran Foro de la Biodiversidad, in Bogotá, Colombia.

Congratulations Seniors!

Students presented their senior theses at a poster session at Northwest Labs today. Farrell Lab senior, Paige Kouba, presented her thesis, "Aedes dance party: Interbreeding and hybridization between Aedes triseriatus and Aedes hendersoni in Eastern MA."  We look forward to seeing where Paige's future research takes her (and her dancing bees!).

Farrell as they discuss how the migration of species in Mesoamerica and the Caribbean contributes to the evolution of ecological complexes, such as seeds, human families, and cultural practices, like religious rituals and music. This discussion will be centralized over a presentation of various foods that embrace rich histories and stories of migration.
